The three main points are:
1. Paleo is more of an eating template than a list of strict eating rules. The problem is that’s what it has become. This causes people to get confused and overly strict. Paleo is about eating “real” food.
2. Two of the major mistakes people make with the paleo diet are eating too much packaged food and not eating enough. Just because a food claims to be “paleo friendly” does not mean it is going to help you lose weight. If you don’t eat enough it can cause water retention and more issues.
3. Paleo is not keto. You don’t need to turn it into a really high-fat diet. Also, avoiding carbs on paleo is not typically the right way to go about it. Carbs are important and many people will respond better on the Paleo diet if they consume higher amounts of carbs.
