Healthy Jackfruit Salad | Vegan, Keto, Paleo Diet Recipe

In this video I’m sharing my first attempt at preparing Vegan, Keto, Paleo Chicken Salad using Jackfruit. This turned out to be a very easy and delicious recipe! You wont be disappointed!

Nutritional Value of Jackfruit

Jackfruit contains lots of dietary fiber and it is rich in vitamins and minerals. It contains vitamins A, B6 and C and minerals niacin, riboflavin, folic acid, calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium and potassium. It also has antioxidants.

Jackfruit has no saturated fat or cholesterol and is low in sodium and calories. Its pulp is composed of 74% water.

Jackfruit is a sweet, delicious and exotic fruit that gives remarkable benefits including the ability to enhance immunity, boost magnesium levels, and improve digestion.

Strengthens Immune System

The vitamin C and antioxidants found in jackfruit can strengthen the immune system and protect the body from many common diseases such as cough, cold and flu.

Improves Digestion

Because jackfruit is a high-fiber fruit, it can help improve digestion and prevent constipation by making the bulk laxative for easier pass through in the digestive tract.

Reduces Risk of Cardiovascular Disease

The healthy dose of vitamin B6 found in jackfruit can reduce heart disease. Jackfruit contains potassium that reduces high blood pressure and risk of stroke and heart attack.

Promotes Bone Health

Jackfruit contains both magnesium and calcium that may help reduce risk of osteoporosis and ostepenia. A serving of jackfruit contains about 6 percent of the recommended daily allowance of calcium. This can be strong source to prevent osteoporosis or other bone problems.

Helps Fight Cancer

Not only that the vitamins C and antioxidants including lignans, isoflavones and saponins in jackfruit can boost immune system, they also have cancer-fighting properties that ward off the effects of harmful free radicals.
