The paleo diet is excellent for weight loss because it eliminates the main causes of weight gain.
Processed food, sugar, fatty hydrogenated oils, etc. are all excluded from the paleo diet.

This very fact means that anybody who adopts the paleo diet will see much higher chance of losing weight than someone who merely stays on a standard American diet and tries to cut his calories.
Eating clean is unequivocally better than eating less.

Since, you’ll be eating clean while on the paleo diet, that is half the battle won. It is also worth noting that you should be at a caloric deficit of about 500 calories daily.

However, there is a limit as to how many calories you can restrict or how much you can exercise.

This tool is intermittent fasting… and when combined with the paleo diet will leave you lean and ripped in no time at all.
Do take note that you should be accustomed to the paleo diet before embarking on intermittent fasting. Don’t try to do too much too soon.

By adopting the paleo diet and intermittent fasting overnight, you’ll be placing unnecessary stress on yourself.
Wait for 1 or 2 months after adopting the paleo diet before incorporating intermittent fasting in your life.

Don’t panic at the word fasting. You will still be eating all your calories for the day.
The only difference is that you will be eating them during an eating window.

The intermittent fasting method states that you should consume all your calories for the day within an 8 hour window.
So, if your eating window is from 11am to 8pm, you’re not allowed to eat anything after 8pm all the way to the next day 11am.

Your body will be in a fasted state for 16 hours. In this way, your body will have lots of time to digest the food and when it needs energy, it will turn to its fat stores for fuel.
You’ll be burning fat instead of glucose.

Ideally, it’s best to start with an 8 hour window and gradually work your way down to a 6 hour window.
