Super Easy Paleo Baked Apples

In this video, I make some delicious paleo baked apples that have an incredible date and walnut filling. The best thing about this tasty dessert is how easy it is to quickly whip up.

If you end up with any leftovers make sure you keep them as they will last a few days in the fridge. The leftovers can be reheated but they’re also pretty decent cold.

• 2 apples, cored
• 1 tsp. honey
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg, ground
• 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
• 1/4 Cup dates, chopped

One downside to this delicious dessert is that it does contain a fair bit of sugar (natural). If you’re looking to lose weight, then it might be best to avoid this or only have it every now and then.

For the best results, I recommend using a type of baking apple but if you don’t have any around then any good apple will do.

There are a few ingredients that you’re able to swap around with this dish. For example, the dates can be swapped for a different type of dried fruit. Another example is that the walnuts can be swapped for another type of nut such as pecan.

In the video, I prick the apple as this will help stop them from exploding whilst cooking in the oven. It’s not completely necessary but you could find your apples a pile of mess if you don’t.
